Mohamed Hamdi
Prof. Mohamed Hamdi (PhD, habilitation) is currently a cybersecurity expert at the Arab ICT Organization (League of Arab States) and a full professor at the Higher School of Communictions (University of Carthage), Tunisia. In 2022, he was the Leader of the Experts’ Team in charge of the elaboration of the Arab Cybersecurity Strategy (League of Arab States). He is also the co-founder of Inoteqia, a Tunisian deep tech ecosystem, and Cytekia, a Tunisian startup operating in cybersecurity. He has led the development of more than 10 national and institutional cybersecurity strategies. Between 2015 and 2021, he was the founding director of Elagzala Innovation Center. He was leading the implementation of high added-value innovative projects in this national pilot experience. He has contributed as an international expert in cybersecurity and cyberterrorism to the implementation of national cybersecurity strategies in Africa and Europe. Bewteen 2012 and 2015, he was a visiting researcher at the Norwegian Computing Center, where he was involved in the ASSET project. His main contribution was to develop risk-based security models for IoT based on game theory. He co-authored more than 150 scientific publications in international books, journals and conferences.
